Sunflowers Wales is a nonprofit community group established in May 2022 by Ukrainian volunteers in Wales to provide support to Ukrainians affected by Russia's invasion. We are a group of friends who have actively organized fundraising events and arranged regular shipments of humanitarian aid and medical supplies to Ukraine since 2014. Following the onset of the massive invasion in February 2022, we are continuously searching for new sources of donations.

Your help, generosity, and support are crucial for our effective work. We exclusively collaborate with trusted volunteers in Ukraine who promptly deliver the shipments to hospitals, medics near the frontline, displaced persons centers, and other relevant locations. Updates on all our shipments are regularly posted on our website, accompanied by photo reports from Ukrainian volunteers. Additionally, all our financial records are accessible there.
Since April 2022, our members have also been actively assisting Ukrainian refugees. Our goal is to bring together Ukrainians who have arrived in Wales and help them integrate into the local community while maintaining connections with their homeland. We organize and participate in social and fundraising events regularly, offer dance and art classes for Ukrainians in Wales, liaise with Welsh institutions, and share valuable information. Our social media chats unite over 300 Ukrainian families, and our Facebook group has over 1500 members.
